I'm loving the crinkled and laid back look of these pillows I sewed for our living room.
I made two from the leftover fabric from the drop cloth drapes I recently made for our family room windows and patio door in the kitchen.
I added a box-type pleat for a bit of detail.
The smaller ruffled pillow, below, is a blue ticking like stripe pair I made (blurry photo!, it is so hard to get good lighting in our livingroom.) Here I added a gathered ruffle. I love making my own pillows and reusing the pillow inserts.
I will be linking this post to Funky Junk's Saturday Nite Special #5 Anything Goes party.

Elizabeth,
This pillow turned out nice, and so did your slipcovered ottoman! I heard Big Lots carries $10 drop cloths so I'm going to see if they are as good as the one's at HD and Lowes.
I'm off to check out the drapes you made.

Your pillows look so great. Every time I come to your blog, I start wishing I could sew. laurie
The pleated pillow is adorable. Is that chair with the white slipcover, a leather chair undreneath? I have a leather couch and it has no back cushions, and the seat cushions aren't removable. I wonder if it's even worth slipcovering. It may just be all over the place.

I love your pillows! I can't sew but make pillows all the time using stitch witchery ;). I'm jealous of that gorgeous little ruffle. Nicely done.
Oh they are so gorgeous. Can you make me some too.

I LOOOOOVE this look! That ruffle is sassy! Gives a pillow a personality if you know what I mean. Adorable! I'll take 3. :)
Thanks for linking up!

These turned out cute. I really like the box ruffle it's a nice change from a regular gather.
Ooooh I love those pillows! Great job!
