Muskoka chairs, also called Adirondack chairs, have always been a favourite of mine. We use real size Muskoka chairs in our backyard and I love these miniature Muskoka chairs in white and two shades of blue.
Blue is my favourite colour but I always have trouble giving the shades a correct name. Aquamarine?, turquoise?, azure?, robin's egg?, not navy in this case. There is at least a touch of blue in all rooms in our home. After moving the shelves three times, drywall holes, patching and all, we finally settled on some shelves in an awkward spot beside our kitchen cabinets. The cabinets ended at the breakfast bar and the header above them continued for two more feet. I think the brackets should be moved in a bit but this is the stud location and I wouldn't want my little pretties to come crashing down.
Once again I'm linking this up to the Ready Set Vignette Party happening at The Stories of A to Z. Stop by to see some great vignettes.

How adorable are those chairs??? Love them!
I have never heard them called this before. My rule is you can never have too many Andirondack chairs if the price is right. I'm up to 9 now. They are all over my yard. My favorite is worn and chippy, it cost $3.00 at an estate sale. I have a set of 4 white from the Thrift Store for $16.95!
Great post!
How cute, Elizabeth! How can anyone not love blue?? And I adore Adirondack chairs... have you seen the turquoise ones at World Market??
I love all this yummy stuff too!
Pretty, girl!
I have bistro sets and benches in my yard.
I think I need to start looking for some Muskoka chairs!!
I love me some open shelving, too!
Blessings to you today!!
Hi Elizabeth,
Pretty! I love those little chairs. There's something so adorable about them when they are miniature! I have a few willow ones that I should bring out and display. I had forgotten all about them until I saw your post.
The color of your walls is really warm, very nice against the white.
Thanks for visiting, come back again soon!

Looks great! I love the summery feel of the chairs!
Blue and white is always so classy...love all the items you grouped together for variety. Come say hi sometime.
Those little Muskoka chairs are so cute and the white dishes behind them really set the chairs off. I love your Mason jars - I really am determined to find some this year.
Those little chairs are adorable! And I love all of those shades of blue in your house. Everything Etsy blog recently did a post on a site where you could find the names of colors. Maybe that site could help you name your blues.
Love your shelves ... and anything blue.
